What will my premium be?
Premiums are calculated based on years of service and unused sick days. If you have sold sick days to CCSD upon retirement, they can still be utilized in premium calculations. If you buy out a year with PERS, this does NOT count towards your years of service for determining your premium.

When and how to make your first retiree payment
After your enrollment is reviewed, you will receive an invoice for your first month’s premium. This invoice will be sent to the personal email address on file and will include instructions to complete payment via ACH. Alternatively, you may pay THT directly via check or money order by mailing payment to 2950 E Rochelle Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89122.
After your payment is successfully processed, your retiree health coverage will be finalized and activated. Any applicable future payments may then transition to automatic deductions, depending on your eligibility and setup.
What if I didn't receive the first payment invoice?
The invoice is sent to your personal email address on file. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder. If you still have not seen it, verify that your email address is correct in the Member Portal.
What if I don't make my payment?
Your retiree coverage will not be activated until your first payment is successfully processed. Be sure to complete your ACH payment as soon as you receive the invoice. Delays in completing your first payment may delay or void the activation of your coverage. Once your plan has been deactivated due to non-payment, it may not be reactivated, even if the missed premium is repaid.
I'm having issues with ACH transfer.
Ensure your bank information is entered correctly when submitting your ACH payment. Errors may delay processing and activation of coverage.
